Article name and scope
[edit]My suggestion is to rename this article to "Grey box model", and revise the article appropriately. Having an article about only completion and validation makes little sense, and doing so while not having an article for Grey box models generally would seem to make no sense at all. - Good suggestion. Would like to change title to ”Grey box models: completion and validation” how can this be done? Note there are other grey box pages, and that completion and validation are the major activities undertaken with grey box models. After completion and validation it becomes simulation (or may be some type of analysis of the result) to make use of the model which is no longer a grey box model. - I have changed the title to "Grey box model". There are sections entitled "Model completion" and "Model validation"; they can be expanded if desired. There should be a better explanation of what a grey box model actually is.
- The citations of Kojovic [1989] and Whiten [1971] seem inappropriate; so I have removed them. I made some other small changes too.
- Grey box modeling is not well-known. Hence, I think that this article could become quite useful for many people.

Restored references to Whiten71, Kojovic89, Xiao98 as these were removed without realisation of the extent these provide detailed additional information. They also demonstrate use on industrial data. BillWhiten (talk) 04:20, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
