[edit]NOTE: Gretna should not redirect to Gretna Green as the two places are different, albeit near to each other Gretnagod 17:43, 3 February 2006 (UTC) Too damn right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!RAYMI.
I don't get why the article goes on about different things apart from Gretna itself. It seems it went off to tell you about the Solway firth and Carlile and i don't see what Carlile has got to do with gretna? Its also seems that the only thing the article could really talk about was the marriage industry in Gretna but i think it should have also told you about the Gala and some of the things that used to happen at it. Apart from this it is quite good. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.159.181.121 (talk) 12:32, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- It could probably expand the section about marriages, i.e. it has held the most in one day in UK i think, would need to ref that to be sure. Or am i confused with gretna green.(Monkeymanman (talk) 00:50, 2 November 2009 (UTC))
- Marriages take place at Gretna Green, not Gretna. Pyrotec (talk) 10:24, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
Gretna now does a gala again thanks to the Gretna Festival Commity, They put back on the festival for the first time in years (too many years if you ask me), they did it without ANY help from the council. They had no funding off them. It was very successful aswell, I'm looking forward to next years. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.24.249.136 (talk) 15:45, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
