Evaluation
[edit]This article is incomplete but the information is correct. Its strengths are that it is factually correct and information is given at a neutral standpoint whereas, its weaknesses are that it does not have much information and is underdeveloped. Joseph Oldam (talk) 23:24, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]This text was removed due to vandalism:
Semenza has been accused of frauds when several dozens of his articles have been found to contain duplicated results. Examples of fraud include copypastas of western blot results using a blur image manipulation tool.[1] Some of his now disputed papers includes the ones he received a nobel prize for.[2] Lelandykes (talk) 14:17, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

Semenza has retracted 5 papers for image manipulation. While we cannot assert a pattern of deceit or misconduct, a story seems to be developing here. I initiated a new section in the article itself, motivated by an article appeared in Nature today October 21, 2022 (https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-022-03032-9).
