Additionally, let me point out this CNN headline: "Greg Zanis, known the nation over as 'The Cross Man,' dies at 69". To me, that indicates that a reliable source is asserting notability. Agree with the above; many sources cited are in response to Zanis' death, but other were generated years ago and as such there is a good case for the subject to meet WP:SUSTAINED.
