Alexis I. duPont High School as an institution has been in existence for over a century in Greenville, residing in two locations (its current location and a site that is now the site of A.I. duPont Middle School). I believe that "Points of Interest" can be interpreted in one of two ways: An establishment's prominence or meaning to the denizens of that locale, and the interest in said point to entities outside of the locale (in this case, most notably Newsweek[1] on several occasions, as well as the game of the institutions' marching band) and believe that this school satisfies both requirements. I do realize, however, that I may be biased as an alumnus and am open to discussion. Littledrummrboy21:03, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I am parking this here until it can be verified:
The ZIP code 19710, partially contained within eastern Greenville, is the highest-income ZIP code, and indeed the highest-income census-defined geography, in the entire United States, with a per capita income of over $600,000 per annum.
