That one kid who skateboarded all the time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.77.41.253 (talk) 18:31, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah he was way into that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.73.100.27 (talk) 06:50, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

GMHS was founded in June of 1973 and not for the year of 1975. Three Jeffco highschools opened up in June of '73, Pomona, Columbine and Green Mountain, all three were built off of the same floor plan. Green Mnt. and Columbine took Juniors from Bear Creek High School and Dunstan JHS sophmores were sent directly to GMHS. So in 1973 there were no seniors at GMHS for which to pick on us juniors and sophmores, gotta love it. - Class of '75 GMHS dropout and possibly the only GMHS dropout with a BA from CSU. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.87.0.25 (talk) 20:24, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pranks

[edit]
  • Come on, guys: if you're going to write about pranks, at least cite the school newspaper article (if one exists). Anything posted on Wikipedia needs to have a source listed. For now, I'm tagging it as unverified. TheFeds 18:39, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Humorously, I was there when it happened. Be that as it may, I'm not going to argue that it should even be in the article. It was a one-time, generationally-relevant event that was in no way actually tied to the school at large.Mfrisk (talk) 03:34, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"GM" hillside letters

[edit]

Can someone confirm that the "GM" hillside letters for this school actually exists? Are there any photos available for it? See also List of Hillside Letters for more details. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 17:18, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The letters GM did indeed exist and were of course painted white. They were located on the hill just down from the baseball field/running track. Pictures? I don't know, but you can go to facebook and ask the class of '75 if any of them have pictures. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.87.0.25 (talk) 20:29, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
