The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was: don't merge. Besides the nominator, discussion participants unanimously opposed merging, and there has been no further discussion for more than a week. Sources now cited in the article appear to address the nominator's concern over containing information about Greek Bank beyond its location in the National Radio Quiet Zone. Population 141. I see no sources which discuss the town outside of its relation to the National Radio Quiet Zone. Daask (talk) 19:14, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment National Radio Quiet Zone is a redirect, so a merge does not make any sense. If you want to move this page there then you should start an WP:RM. 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:9099:EBEB:3B4D:C154 (talk) 19:21, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. This is a populated place, and one with clear encyclopedic value. There's already at least one reliable source for the name of the town; it should be easy to find a few more, such as USGS topographical survey maps, a history of the post office, and if it's a census-designated place, the population can presumably be verified from the census; there's probably something about the high school too. It would be astonishing if there were no news coverage of the town. Much smaller towns than this are notable enough for stub articles. I suspect that WP:BEFORE was not followed in this nomination: it's based on the sources currently in the article, instead of following a reasonable attempt to locate reliable sources. Also, this discussion would make more sense on the Green Bank page than it does here. P Aculeius (talk) 14:41, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
