IOU ligature
[edit]Note that several items on the Madaba Map have a single ligature—an iota with an overset solidus that ends up making it look like a gamma with a head tilted 45 degrees—standing for ΙΟΥ as a unit, as in ΑΓ* meaning AGIOU. — LlywelynII 20:22, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
