@AshMusique: In order to prevent an edit war I will notify you here as to why I reverted your [changes]. Do you realize that "2019-2020" is not a recording studio anywhere in the world? I don't understand why you would make the same mistake twice. The song is 2 minutes and 39 seconds on Apple Music and YouTube and I used the correct template as stated in infobox song. The record labels are in the order that they are in the copyright sections of web streaming services. Streaming is not an article, streaming media is. Please stop your disruptive editing asap, thanks. rayukk | talk08:13, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Rayukk:, please note: "recorded" refers to the year/date the song was recorded, whereas "studio" is for where the song was recorded, per Template:Infobox song, which I suggest you kindly read and familiarise yourself with. So no, I did not make a mistake. However, I've sinced removed the recording years, as they were actually about "Popstar". I got confused while editing, 'cause obviously sources discuss both songs together. Like I said before, Template:Duration is redundant and unnecessary, we do not necessarily need it. You have not provided a source as to the exact length of the song. YouTube is known to add extra seconds. As I stated, I was going off the Apple Music source I provided in my edit summary. I honestly don't care how long the song is though, a second barely makes a difference. Cool, thanks for fixing the order of the labels. Streaming is an article, it redirects to streaming media, so there's nothing wrong with linking like that. I was actually busy creating the article while the IP had already started it, so that's why I overrided the "streaming" link. I linked WP:NOTBROKEN before with regards to that. Not that it is necessarily required, but I sourced my producer credits, whereas you or the IP did not. None of my edits even remotely relates to being "disruptive", I contributed a major expansion and subsequent changes were warranted. And you have failed to adress your snarky attitude about trivialities, 'cause I certainly did not mean to offend anyone woth mu edits. Also, that is not how genres work: hip hop is an all encompassing genre, we know the song is hip hop, it needs a specific genre, eg. trap. Also, why are you so insistent on keeping the IP user's edits? I'm suspecting that is actually your account? If so, you are aware that using two accounts is highly discouraged per WP:SOCK? If not, your argument that I was "disruptive" is unwarranted and goes against WP:ONUS. AshMusique (talk) 08:41, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@AshMusique: OK let's roll back one level. You did contribute a lot of helpful info to the article, so thank you for that. Also, you added the "2019-2020" part to the "studio" parameter of the template, not the "recorded", but I guess that was just an honest mistake. Regarding the genre, you are right, I would prefer a more specific genre as well, however I would not say this is a trap song. Most important to me is that we correctly state the producers of both tracks. Greece was prod. by OZ and co-prod. by Tiggi. Popstar was prod. OZ and co-prod. David x Eli as stated by OZ himself in the source I provided. All other things are, as you already stated, technicalities. If we add the correct genre, I think we have a solid article basis. Regards, rayukk | talk09:06, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Rayukk:, yeah it was an obvious misplacement. Thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't realized. My apologies. I did not say it's a trap song, I was merely making an example. I honestly got confused with the producers and skimming through the sources, so thanks for your helpful contributions and fixes. AshMusique (talk) 09:13, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
