I think that the Great Scribe of Lithuania, despite being "of Lithuania", was an adviser to the King of Poland in his capacity as King of Poland, not as the Grand Duke. radeksz (keyboard with broken tilda key)
Single article or two
[edit]Perhaps this article should be renamed to just "Great Scribe" (or "Great Scribe of Poland-Lithuania") and it should include info on the Great Scribe of the Crown. Otherwise we'll have two almost identical articles since the office was essentially the same.radek (talk) 18:08, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- I wou'd like to know the rezididence of this seat, before any attempts to move it according to the proper procedure.--Lokyz (talk) 18:35, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- Well I'm guessing this one's either in GDL or in Krakow. But the point is that there is two very similar offices - one for the Crown, one for Lithuania - with almost identical duties, and the question is whether there should be two separate, but almost identical articles, or one article for both.radek (talk) 19:06, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
