Same epidemics?

[edit]

Perhaps it should be noted in this article that in 1649, Croatian coastal town of Šibenik lost over 75% percent of its population due to plague [1] – it may be the same epidemics. --89.216.37.80 (talk) 21:34, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Correction

[edit]

In the first line only 60.000 casualties are mentioned. Obviously it means 600.000. However, in the body of the article the number mentioned is 500.000. In order to solve this discrepancy and correct the problem, I'll use the 500.000. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.174.170.112 (talk) 21:06, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hoax

[edit]

There is no genuine historical record of a plague in Seville, Spain. This is a hoax article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.6.69.2 (talk) 08:34, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Organization and Focus

[edit]

The article is supposed to be about the Plague of Seville which encompassed a 5-year period. It does not focus on the subject and wanders off into discussing other Spanish plagues. It does not summarize the event with total deaths and it is hard to discern which city event belongs to what outbreak. The other references are fine for context but the original subject is lost.FlyZone (talk) 01:16, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
