Article Title
[edit]This title starts with the definite article ("the") which should probably be removed (WP:TITLE). The title, "The Great Paris Exhibition Telescope of 1900", seems to reference one source; Françoise Launay Journal for the History of Astronomy article of the same name. Raw Google testing[1] shows little other justification for this name, the hits seem to reference the article. "Great Telescope of the Paris Exposition" gets some independent hits[2]. Is there any definitive source on its name? 75.199.79.5 (talk) 15:43, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- The title of this entry now begins with "Great ..." which is fine by me and fits the naming conventions. Has someone moved the artilce from "The Great ..." to "Great..."? Since there was only one great telescope at the exhibitiom, the use of "the" in the text is legitimate, but as pointed out, not in the title worlds. Ron B. Thomson (talk) 21:10, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
