Why does this article not have a lead section?
[edit]@Dan arndt why did you mark it as having no lead section? The first paragraph looks a lot like a lead section to me. There isn't so much that I can write about a fire from 150 years ago in a relatively small city (compared to other great fires like the one in London). RPI2026F1 (talk) 00:51, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
- A lead is a short description of the Wikipedia article or a concise explanation of the scope of the page. Based on your comment the article only consists of a lead... ??? Dan arndt (talk) 00:57, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry, I realized what I did wrong. I redid the article to look more normal, with multiple sections. RPI2026F1 (talk) 01:21, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
Additional sources
[edit]Have you thought of expanding the article using information from the Troy Irish Genealogical Society website (extracted from Troy's One Hundred Years 1789-1889) or the Troy Historical Marker or the New York Almanac]?? Dan arndt (talk) 01:07, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
