The egreat depression happened during the dust bowl. We should have the rights to not let this happen again because it's possible!
Naming concern
[edit]In France, the depression of the 1880s is known as the Great Depression. This is refered to as the Depression of the 1930s. It'll confuse the heck out of French readers. I don't want to step on any toes by re-naming it (as this is otherwise a quite good article), but folks who maintain this might want to consider a rename of some type.
