Long list of grandstand performers

I think the long list of year-by-year grandstand performers is too much. I think it goes against guidelines such as Wikipedia is not a directory or Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. There are three main sources for the information: the primary (allentownfairpa.org web site), a local/regional newspaper The Morning Call, and Lehigh Valley Live, self-described as a "provider of local news in the Greater Lehigh Valley". In many cases, the coverage is merely the fact that X will be playing at the fair. I think to include some grandstand acts over the years should require coverage in sources with a wider audience, coverage that supports a particular appearance as notable to a general audience. _signed,Willondon (talk) 23:18, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the extensive list of performers by year and listed only the most notable artists. Comparing it to other fair pages, it is now on par with those. The fair website included a PDF document of all performers and was used. Landou224 (talk) 08:42, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
