General Gravity
[edit]"the shape of the shielded region above a disk would be conical." Is there any evidence that gravity comes from below? If gravity's effect propagates downward then the shielded region would be below the disk.
For clarification: I'v inserted a equivalence principle section, which clearly shows that gravity shielding ist not consistent with general gravity and mainstream physics. --D.H 20:23, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Does not exist?
[edit]In the Non-mainstream view section, it reads that the consensus of the scientific community on gravitational shielding "does not exist." This is a little ambiguous. It is obvious it does not exist; it is a largely untested theory. If "does not exist" implies that it is not plausible given today's or the foreseeable future's technology, however, than I believe it should be reworded. Just a suggestion. [edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Gravitational shielding. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20060210065536/http://www.space.com:80/businesstechnology/technology/anti_grav_000928.html to http://www.space.com/businesstechnology/technology/anti_grav_000928.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
