2011 section unclear
[edit]I have read the 2011 section several times. it is utterly unclear and should be rewritten. is the bridge being built or not? if so, who supports it and who opposes it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.26.12.110 (talk) 09:19, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
The bill passed the House of Representatives and it does include funding for the "Bridge to Nowhere". Democratic Congressman Jared Polis offered an amendment to remove the Bridge to Nowhere funding but that amendment was defeated (Dems - 181 voted to remove funding, 7 voted to keep it. Republicans - 239 voted to keep funding, 0 voted to remove it.)
Currently the bill has been sent to the Senate. If the Senate passes the bill as is, it will be sent to the President for a signature or veto. If the Senate changes the bill, it will be sent back to the House. But, currently it is not law. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Afosnacht (talk • contribs) 14:23, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
Coat Racking
[edit]Much of the discussion of Palin's support/opposition to the bridge ought to be moved to the article on Palin. RFabian (talk) 13:01, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- I agree. This is not supposed to be an article on her.70.26.53.75 (talk) 21:21, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

- The link is in the first box under archives. --skew-t (talk) 03:56, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
Coordinate error
[edit]{{geodata-check}}
The coordinates need the following fixes:
55°21'41.60"N
131°42'53.23"W
TheAscender (talk) 03:57, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- The coords currently in the article appear to be correct per the CNN map at about 41 seconds into this clip. The suggested coordinates point at the airport, not to the proposed location of the bridge. — TRANSPORTERMAN (TALK) 22:49, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
