Cleanup Notes

[edit]

Indeed, I'm sure this page does require cleanup. For instance, I'm fairly sure that the head teacher isn't Mr. Bin Laden, for obvious reasons. Also, this Gregory Grisham has no web presence at all, suggesting it's a hoax. Plus, who loses 82-20 in basketball? :p Someone should probably find out who the headteacher is. I would, but I'm lazy. <3 Mwa 10:56, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hah, I just came here to clean out the spam, and you've beat me to it. :<

I'm unsure if the information about The house system is still relevant or in use in the school anymore: St. John's etc. Have not removed it but cannot find any sources to support this exists (or did exist at one time?) Saband123 (talk) 14:50, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New Start

[edit]

I've started a very stubby stub here, but I'm looking to research more into it and make it a reasonable length article soon, minus the previous vandalism. Ginpasu 23:54, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Age of data

[edit]

The page states attendance data but has no indication of when this was valid Thecyberwasp (talk) 01:24, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A-Level (Cleanup)

[edit]

I have removed part of the "Sixth Form" section which deals with A-level qualifications as I don't believe it belongs here. The paragraph "The sixth form consists of two year groups, years 12 and 13 (lower sixth and upper sixth, respectively), in which year 12 covers AS level and year 13 covers A2 level. It is possible, however, to study an AS level during year 13. Furthermore, it is possible to retake AS level examinations during year 13, and students can also apply to retake a year." is not particularly informative for the article on Graveney School as it applies to most UK sixth form schools or colleges. It is largely duplicated in the Overview section of the Advanced Level (UK) article and is more fitting there. Smrgsbrd (talk) 10:09, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Donald Fogarty

[edit]

Removed text from 80.6.124.46:

There is only one notable ex-student from Graveney school, Donald Fogarty, who became the first under 18 British Showjumping champion in 1976.

1976 is 10 years before the current Graveney School opened, and there's no reference cited.

Tone?

[edit]

This article is massively unencyclopaedic in tone, a synthesis of casual wording and brochure-like presentation, and warrants rewriting by someone knowledgeable about the school. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.109.201.11 (talk) 02:17, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
