[edit]Hi Robert! This is Gwyneth from class! I think your article is very well written however there a few grammar errors, for example a few sentences in the passive voice. Also I love how you used pictures and it is easy to follow the flow of the article. I think linking to othr wiki pages may enhance your article even more! Great job and keep up the great work!!
Hi Robert!

Comments from Prof. Paga
[edit]Hi Robert - this is a great start! I have a couple suggestions for making your article even better.
- Add hyperlinks to other Wikipedia articles (ex: Kerameikos, Peloponnesian War, etc.). This will integrate your article into the broader world of Wikipedia.
- Move the "Relief" section (which perhaps should be relabeled "Description") up, so that it's the first main section after your lead paragraph.
- The last sentence of the "Context" section is really interesting. I think it could be moved and used to create a whole new section that provides a bit more info about how scholars interpret this relief. Check out the discussion of the relief in our textbook, and check some of the reserve books in Swem, too, for more details about this.

Merge Proposal
[edit]I propose merging the recently-translated article Dexileos into this one. Dexileos's notability is entirely in the context of his stele: there are no other sources for his existence and no secondary source that discusses him independently of the stele. Indeed, as a fairly ordinary individual and solider, he would not meet any notability guideline in his own right.

- Support: exactly as UC says. there's no reason to have separate articles on the person and the grave stele which is the only thing we know about him. Caeciliusinhorto-public (talk) 09:26, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
- Seeing no objections in a month, I've gone ahead and done this. UndercoverClassicist T·C 10:50, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
