Short article

Not much has been published about these mountains. They are not geologically interesting (all granite, no ores, no springs, no earthquake fault), and difficult to get to, so not much has been published on them. Perhaps there's a graduate research project waiting there. There's not much to say, so why have an article? The main reason is that there are more than one set of Granite Mountains in the Mojave Desert, and some details need to be available to users. There needs to be an article so that it can be included in the Category:Mountain_ranges_of_Riverside_County,_California.
