[edit]While the UK term may be more wildly know, Scott's use of the term predates it by about 50 years. Perhaps he should be first?
Since Stransham was a Royal Marines officer, and the RM are most definitely not part of the Army (and are likely to be extremely displeased if anyone suggests they are), I'd really like to see some evidence of this "title". -- Necrothesp 18:20, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Disambiguation article?
[edit]I feel this article should be a disambig page with the bulk of the material moved to the target articles. Any objections? Is there more to this article that I don't see? - Canglesea (talk) 01:36, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
The reasons for bestowing the title on each of the two people can and should be part of their individual articles. Does anyone have an objection to my making this a disambig page? - Canglesea (talk) 17:29, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- Converted to a DAB. - Canglesea (talk) 01:02, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
