Grand Forks Hotel, Grand Forks, British Columbia
[edit]Frank Hartinger built a similarly named hotel in Grand Forks, BC in 1912. Page 20 of the 20 Feb 1937 edition of The Vancouver Sun provides a convenient review. I have come across a border crossing document from Nov 1941 for a salesman traveling from Vancouver to Grand Forks who crossed the US border at Northport, Washington by automobile and planned to stay at the Grand Forks Hotel during his visit. The 1941 article described the hotelier as the "late Frank Hartinger". Just an fyi in case you want to add a note, a See Also, or write a separate article on this other hotel.
