Lieutenant Graham Gore was First Lieutenant aboard the HMS Erebus during the lost Franklin Expedition. Graham Gore came from a family of distinguished naval officers, particularly in the field of exploration.
It is stated in the victory point note that Lieutenant Gore was promoted to Commander before his death, however, due to the effects that lead poisoning has, as well as other factors, this might have been a mistake when written down, as some dates written are wrong. It is stated that Lieutenant (Commander) Gore was killed sometime before April 25th 1848.
