GMAT Tutoring Section provides little information about the GMAT and is Mostly Advertisement

These statements look like thinly veiled promotion and have nothing to do with providing information about the GMAT. They should be deleted.

One GMAT tutoring company guarantees students specific GMAT scores for both in-person and online tutoring.

One independent GMAT tutor scored an 800 in 2001.

Should every company who guarantees some score increase be listed here? Should every person or tutor who scored an 800 be listed here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Deleteasaur (talkcontribs) 21:59, 9 May 2017 (UTC)

Deleted what appeared to be promotion/advertising in GMAT Tutoring and GMAT Preparation and made a correction. More corrections needed

The GMAT Preparation section seems unnecessary. In my opinion this page should focus on the test only. How you prepare is something completely different. For example, does a page about organic chemistry have links to organic chemistry tutors? I'm OK if others feel differently BUT if that's the case let's discuss in the talk page if 1. If it is appropriate to include test prep info 2. If it is appropriate, how it should be incorporated. Please use the talk page to discuss before adding back the test preparation section. I corrected the re-take time but there are still other factual issues on the page. Deleteasaur (talk) 20:11, 1 June 2017 (UTC)

Please do not add links to test preparation companies or tutors to the GMAT page. This is advertising which is strictly forbidden on Wikipedia. I have mentioned this several times on the talk page and invited dialogue here so that we can come together to figure out:

1. If a preparation section is at all appropriate

2. If it is appropriate then how it should be presented.

So far there hasn't been any constructive dialogue and the tutors and prep companies just keep coming back. Please do not just add back the advertising that was there. It is most certainly against wikipedia policy. Thank you in advance. Deleteasaur (talk) 17:26, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
