Year of birth: 1883 or 1884?
[edit]The sources cited by the article conflict, and a full birth date would be nice. Being 64 on July 20, 1948 is consistent with a birthday between July 21, 1883 and July 20, 1884. The 1883 sources seem to be higher quality, so going with that for now. 65.184.161.24 22:41, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, the 1883 sources seem more authoritative. Thanks for your work on the article. It's one of my earlier efforts, so it's kind of rough-hewn. Zagalejo^^^ 22:52, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Daniel P. Mannix took the picture of Grace Wiley being bit by a cobra with a "G" on its back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.103.219.50 (talk) 03:46, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
- Naturalist Raymond Cowles describes her death quite differently. His theory was that Wiley underestimated the effects of the snake having been in the sun, thus warming to its optimal physical ability, enabling a swifter strike speed than Wiley had expected. 2603:6011:7812:700:F838:C9E8:4545:C960 (talk) 21:17, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
