(exceptionally beautiful art! I didn't have the guts to go with the second print though... :-) ++Lar: t/c 12:53, 19 May 2006 (UTC))
clarification
[edit]I got a little confused. I Am a Cat states that it was written in episodes from 1905 to 1906. This article and the DYK states that Goyo did the layout of the novel in 1905. Can I read "novel" as "ten magazine installments"? - BanyanTree 14:14, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- I Am a Cat, earned a great popularity, was published in three volumes as novel. First volume was published in October 1905, but at the time the story was not completed in the magazine. In the acknowledgment of this first volume,[1] Soseki mentioned Goyo's work. --Pocopen 16:34, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- From what I understand, I Am a Cat was a short story that Goyo contributed to the initial layout of. The story itself was successful enough to serialize. Mollypop 10:23, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
