Neutrality and sourcing
[edit]The current version of the article is evidently based entirely on some official GO-Science material. Compare the first draft [1] which does little more than remove identifying material from this [2]. Wikipedia requires all significant viewpoints to be mentioned, so third-party sources would be useful.
In addition, this sole identifiable source may be inadmissible as Wikipedia requires published sources per WP:V. So, where's it from? Gordonofcartoon (talk) 00:28, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Update request
[edit]Please could this page be reviewed and updated, some sources for latest information are: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/government-office-for-science https://www.gov.uk/government/news/dr-patrick-vallance-takes-up-his-appointment-as-government-chief-scientific-adviser https://www.gov.uk/government/people/patrick-vallance — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.225.81.41 (talk) 13:07, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
- I have updated the Government Chief Scientific Adviser to Patrick Vallance and have uploaded a higher-resolution logo (which you won't see until the old image is purged from your image cache). I haven't got time at the moment to study the sources and rewrite the article, and I invite other editors to do this. Is anything in the article incorrect or misleading?
