It's a start
[edit]A lot of this article is irrelevant, it could be a description of just about any neighbourhood in Tokyo: Soaplands, pachinkoparlours and hostess-clubs are in abundance everywhere from Ikebukuro to sub-urban Tachikawa. Also the tone is not very encyclopedic, and parts could be called subjective. Southsailor 14:54, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
I'll add some constructive critism as well, it seems to be quite subjective and also anti english speakers."worth a visit for those who do not require service in English." is pretty much offensive. Tokyo is not divided into areas of English speakers and non-english speakers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.18.36.132 (talk) 10:37, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
I also object to Gotanda being deemed 'unfashionable'...yeah it's not Shibuya, Ebisu or Omotesando but its got its own personality and sheik... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bigtias (talk • contribs) 21:49, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
While Shibuya might be fashionable among many in the city, the people who actually frequent and live there are largely rural youngsters of a decidedly unfashionable kind. Ebisu is another story though.. Anyway, the article looks a lot better now than two years ago, it still reads a bit "dumb", but I don't know if there's that much more to say about Gotanda. Korean restaurants are hardly a special service and not especially prominent in Gotanda. Also, re: the "english speakers" above, not neutral. Deleted section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.139.153.237 (talk) 10:42, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
