Gostiny DvorGostiny Dvor (disambiguation)Move so that this full-article version can be restored at this title. As the article itself says, this is merely the term for "indoor market" in Russian, and the various partial title match links provided are merely examples of noted indoor markets in Russia. bd2412 T 04:10, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Move. Per the material in the diff presented, the Gostiny Dvor space would be better provisioned for an actual article, rather than a disambiguation page. Also, I was considering just boldly performing the move myself; however, upon looking through the edit history of Gostiny Dvor, I realized that a bold move would have been considered controversial. There have been a few editors who have went back and forth on reverting this article, making it a true article page, then a disambiguation page, and so forth. • I am theoretically in favor of the proposed move but the problem is that there is really no article about gostiny dvors at English Wikipedia. The "full-article version" is just material forked from other articles bar the three intro sentences. It would be nice if there was something in place more like the Russian version before a move was conducted. —  AjaxSmack  05:14, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • There is, however, no prohibition on the repetition of some material in the encyclopedia in different contexts. The content provided in the historic version could be improved to convey that these are examples of notable Russian indoor markets, and of the history and development of this commercial structure. I have added a Google translation of the Russian Wikipedia article below. The fact that Russian Wikipedia has an article at this title instead of a disambiguation page is further evidence that this is a topic, and not merely an ambiguous term. bd2412 T 18:52, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
