TV Presentation in 3D
[edit]In the 1980s, this was shown (at least locally on WSAZ TV3 in Charleston, WV) in anaglyphic 3D. It was a big production and Wendy's restaurant chain supplied the 3D glasses. Anyone remember if this was a network presentation (NBC) or just a local promotion? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 214.13.167.254 (talk) 12:30, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- 13 years later to reply as I was just about to post something on this. It was not a local promotion as CFQC-TV in Saskatoon,Sask. also broadcast it,though the promotion was with 7-11 stores for getting the glasses. It was one of a few 3-D films they tried airing in Canada but this one was played up because star Cameron Mitchell had a close connection to Saskatoon given that he had married into the Mendel family, which was one of the big names in local society (owners of one of the city's biggest employers, Intercontinental Packers, and also sponsors of the Mendel Art Gallery), so anything he did they tended to play up a bit. In relation to this article, it should be possible to find online sources to allow this to be added to the text. 23skidoo (talk) 14:37, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Gorillaatlarge.jpg
[edit]Image:Gorillaatlarge.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
