Regarding album art
[edit]Sorry the album art I added to the article isn't showing up. I embedded it from another page and am not sure how to get it to appear properly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.237.242.9 (talk) 05:01, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
Song lengths
[edit]I noticed that the run time of every song on Gore is listed on the page. Have these run times been confirmed anywhere? The listed source contains no mention of them.

The total time is 46 min, Moreno stated. http://www.acast.com/someonewhoisntme/episode1-chinomoreno?seek=0&autoplay=true --Gbuvn (talk) 01:26, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
Genre
[edit]There appears to be a recent conflict over the genres of the album. These are some of the statements from the reviews that may help us reach a consensus. Feel free to add other sources.
- "This album surprises at every turn, seamlessly transitioning from contemplative quietude into manic chaos on a whim, all the while meshing their tried-and-true alternative metal aesthetic with as many elements of different genres as they can." — Pretty Much Amazing
- "Long since distanced from their early nu-metal roots, Deftones are these days a far more intriguing proposition: a metal band more than happy to dip their toes into the ambient and experimental genres." — The Guardian
- "There, and all over Gore, marks experimental-rock gospel: having something to grab onto helps especially when you’re going far out." — Spin

- There were also three or four critics who noted an Iron Maiden influence, that's something I'd like to add. I'm also fairly certain their influence is elaborated on in an interview I read -- definitely worth a mention if I can dig that up. Fezmar9 (talk) 23:29, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- Allmusic and Spin indeed mention Iron Maiden influences some tracks; that'd be great for inclusion. I'm also adding alt-metal to the prose but I'm not sure what we're supposed to do with ambient/emperimental. Myxomatosis57 (talk) 08:40, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
