Not RS sources seem to indicate a family business evolved specializing in sttering wheel hubs for a form of small racing car; this handed down family business finally closing in the late 2010s. It is also may be worth checking if there is any link to Jeret Schroeder, I would guess there is some possibility there might be, and some there might not; I certainly didn't find any but I don't normally have access to the ancestry type websites.
