Some edits
[edit]I have removed Phu Nham (1984) which is a book by Barry Sadler, not Anderson / Dickson, and Lulungomeena, it is not a collection, and is not the only uncollected GRD story
I have added The Dorsai Companion (collection, 1986), Gremlins Go Home (w Bova), Star Prince Charlie (1983 Hoka novel, later collected into Hokas Pokas), The Space Winners, Secrets of the Deep
I have amended Earthman's Burden (a Hoka book not just a collection), Alien from Arcturus (expanded not just reprinted as Arcturus Landing), The Lifeship (orig title, later vt as Lifeboat), and changed the incorrect title Endings to the correct Ends
I am tempted to insist on adding mention of the Dilbia series, the Jamie series, and a couple of others, but. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.253.8.3 (talk) 04:06, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Niece
[edit]I removed the info about his niece as I can't find any info on her, so I really doubt she's notable and worth mentioning. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 03:28, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
X minus One
[edit]GRD wrote an episode of X minus One, an early radio series. In this episode he refers to one of the characters as a Dorsai. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.14.165.101 (talk) 23:22, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Yes, the X minusOne episide is "Lulungomeena", also mentioned above. I think it should be mentioned; maybe we need a new subsection in his bibliography. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.98.131.250 (talk) 12:55, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
Cause of death
[edit]This article lacks to inform about the cause of death.
Was it disease? An accident? Is non reported or unknown?
Whatever it was, or if the family kept it private, this article should state it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.20.142.40 (talk) 13:35, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
- Added. You could have found the cause yourself simply by clicking the obit citations, as I did. BPK (talk) 15:18, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
Canadian years
[edit]I removed this: The early Canadian years are not thought to have exerted an all-too strong influence onto the author's work. (Reference to Clute, 345)
What does it even mean? If it means that the Canadian years didn't exert an influence, what is the "all-too strong" doing there?

- @JediKnyghte: Yeah it looks like whoever added that didn't summarize very well the other source. Its a reasonable removal: after all biographical criticism like this, unless directly connectable to someone's life, tends to be speculation anyway, Sadads (talk) 01:17, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
