Merge with Google Apps for Work?
[edit]The Google Apps for Work page is more detailed. This should redirect there. If I’ve misunderstood, and this is actually a separate product, then this article should explain the difference. The other article makes it sound like “Google for Work” is the name of the division of the company that creates “Google Apps for Work”. Nate Silva (talk) 17:34, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose See bottom of https://www.google.com/work/ : Google for Work is the overall branding and Google Apps for Work is one of several constituent products/services in it. Saying that, our article Google for Work is poor. Widefox; talk 22:35, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
- Comment Merge target is now a redirect to G Suite. Suggest closing merge. Widefox; talk 00:19, 28 October 2016 (UTC)
- Accept Widefox, the website now redirects to Google Cloud Platform. So, what should we do? sa (talk) 21:34, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

Oppose.Support.Too soon, Google for Work will supposedly be renamed to Google Cloud.LittleWink (talk) 17:27, 30 September 2016 (UTC)
- But the official website www
.google .com /work / in the article already redirects to www .google .com /cloud /, and the new website is already branded as "Google Cloud." Also isn't that article from Sept. 17th? Isn't the "supposedly" renaming already happened? --Emphrase - 💬 | 📝 17:40, 30 September 2016 (UTC)

- Oppose. Where does the current disambiguation page go? I'd say it's too soon for this to be moved. Anarchyte (work | talk) 11:46, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. Google for Work is still the name of a notable product even if historical. That article should be kept and updated. Is it the same product as the current Google Cloud? Impossible to judge that until some reliable secondary sources are written. The official name counts for zilch. Meantime, turn the current DAB at Google Cloud into a broad concept article. The result of the move request was: Not moved. because there is no consensus for move and not likely to develop after two relists. (non-admin closure) –Ammarpad (talk) 17:11, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

Cheers! -Wefk423 (talk)- That is just the renaming announcement. Has it prevailed as the WP:Common name? --Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 19:43, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- Looks like Google Cloud Platform is most commonly called "Google Cloud", and "Google Cloud" is rarely if not never mentioned as Google's own definition to mean "G Suite + Google Cloud Platform". Emphrase - 💬 / 📝 06:39, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
- I have clicked inside Google Cloud's webpage (https://www.google.com/cloud/), G Suite and Google Cloud Platform are listed as one as its products and services. I do believe that the name Google for Work is abandoned by Google? - Wefk423 (talk) 06:52, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
- Yes. That's why I was the previous user proposing this article to be moved to Google Cloud in 2016 above. However, the consensus was to not move it. Emphrase - 💬 / 📝 07:07, 14 January 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose Google Cloud Platform is the most common use of the term Google Cloud. I think G Suite would be a redirect target for this page, which is an out-of-date stub. (disclaimer: I was previously employed by Google) power~enwiki (π, ν) 21:08, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
