Capgras syndrome
[edit]I'm going to remove the reference to capgras syndrome from the opening sentence. It gives away a major plot point, visible even on the google preview of the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.218.108.117 (talk) 12:29, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
- Not a good idea at all. The info was restored several times, but IPs are continuing to remove this information from the article claiming it would be a major spoiler.
- We are an encyclopedia and it is our duty to describe things neutrally and without bias. Suppressing some information in order to raise (or keep) the plot's tension is against our core principles. People, who are searching for an appetizer for the film should look in a movie newsletter, but not in an encyclopedia.
- It is debatable if such info belongs into the lede or into the body of the article, but it does belong into the article for sure.
- If the removal of such vital information continues, the article will likely have to be edit-protected, thereby making it impossible for IPs and new editors to add to the article (which would be a pity).

- Moved mention of Capgras syndrome to the plot summary section where it is much more appropriate. Similar movies with major ending plot twists like The Sixth Sense and Shutter Island do not have descriptive sentences about the plot twists in the opening paragraph(s) of their respective pages, so including those details in the opening section of the page is nonstandard. Hopefully it's agreeable to keep the info detailing the syndrome in the article, while moving it to a section where if anyone is spoiled it's entirely their own fault for reading about the plot.
