Goodland Limestone or Goodland Formation
[edit]There are two articles for the Goodland: Goodland Formation and Goodland Limestone. I suggest to merge them, however, I do not know which name is formally recognized in Texas. In Arkansas, either usage is formally recognized by the Arkansas Geological Survey. The [USGS Geolex] says the Goodland Limestone is the usage used by the USGS. - I tend to prefer keeping articles under the most descriptive name, so I think the Formation article should be merged into this one. Abyssal (talk) 17:34, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- Done - copied the one ref (that was missing here)from the formation page. Vsmith (talk) 02:15, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
