Question

Were Kenan & Kel's original "Good Burger" skits first shown on All That, or on Kenan & Kel? - knoodelhed 20:36, 30 May 2004 (UTC)

All That. In fact, I don't think Goodburger was featured in Kenan & Kel, since the show was more sitcom-like.

Ummmm... what? That's not even close to what they were going for. Like every other character in All That, they portrayed unconditional idiots. It's part of the act. Reasons for asking the same question about Florida-related things

Vandelism

I'm pretty sure this page was slightly vandelized. In the trivia section it stated that "Good Burger is mankind's greatest cinematic achievement." I deleted it. -User:Kip the Dip

Captions

This is more like trivia/goofs but I was watching the movie on usa with captions on and before the commercial break, that old guy who works with the fries says "...I think I broke my tail" but the captions replaced the word tail with "ass".71.106.88.181 19:37, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Relation to NYC Restaurant

There is a restaurant chain on the east coast of USA, notably New York, which has the name 'Goodburger' and the slogan 'Welcome to Goodburger, home of the Goodburger'. It really seems like an homage to the skit and movie, but my insatiable curiosity leads me to ask if anyone here can find a more authoritative source relating the history of the two?

Nostalgia Critic?

NC is hilarious, but I don't think he can be mentioned in the critical reception section. He normally exegartes minor details for the sake of comedy. And is not a serious reviewer. KMFDM FAN (talk) 15:42, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

There seems to be an influx of fans edited him into the pages of certain movies. We've had that problem with North, too. I love the NC as much as any respectable movie nerd, but he's a comedian, not a serious reviewer. If people feel the need to include him, they need to explain why. First paragraph run on sentence. Catch Phrase mentioned twice

The first sentence in first paragraph listing the cast, producer, etc seems like a malformed sentence; hard to read. If there is a better way to write it... I am not sure right now. Also the catchphrase is mentioned in the first sentence first paragraph and also at the end of the Plot. Maybe it is ok, but I'm not sure.

I edited the first paragraph, to make it less difficult to read. However, I believe the opening paragraph is still a bit awkward. Critical response

"The film received mixed reviews." This has come up twice today in edits by IP 69.50.63.234 and by GreatBeast455. Though well-intentioned, Wikiproject Film generally frowns on these summaries. The typical attitude is that the aggregators like Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic can draw their own conclusions, and that the numbers they draw can be cited. (See here and here.) But attempting to say that such and such movie received "mixed" reviews, is mostly meaningless. All reviews, simply by virtue of being written, are mixed. Some reviewers like the music. Some like the jokes. Some hate the jokes but like the lighting, some like the story, but find it saccharine. Etc etc. Further, 31% is a rating that would normally skew to a negative reception, so saying that Good Burger received middle-of-the-road response is disingenuous, especially when Rotten Tomatoes indicates that there is no consensus yet on whether the movie is "fresh" or "rotten". Thus, describing the overall critical response as "mixed" is WP:SYNTHESIS because it draws a conclusion not expressly stated by the sources. Location speculation

This film was not set in the State of Florida. The setting for this movie is southern California in the City of Los Angeles. Clear evidence of this is the fact that Ed and Dexter drive to 'The Great Western Forum' (which is a basketball arena) to make a delivery to Shaquille O'Niel after the Los Angeles Lakers won a game. Plus if you look at the license plates on all the cars, they are all California plates. Incidentally, Dexter got this summer job to pay the expense of a car repair bill...however, basketball season is not a summer sport...so the Lakers wouldn't have had been paying any games during that time....maybe it was just a little oversight on the writers/directors behalf.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Tonysilva530 (talk • contribs)

Tonysilva530 - The article doesn't state that the film is set in Florida, so I don't understand the point of your comment. And, since we don't rely on people's personal observations to discern things such as the setting of a film merely by identifying local landmarks, we have no reason to change the article to reflect your perspective. Many movies have been filmed in different cities from which they were set. Personal obserservation or original research is not the metric we use.
