Rider heart attack
[edit]It appears from what I've found that the rider died of hemorrhaging at Six Flags Magic Mountain, not of a heart attack at Six Flags over Georgia. [1] Can anybody else back this up? « amiИa . skyшalkeя (¿Hábleme?) 22:23, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Yes it was a man on the SFOG Goliath had a heart attack and lost consciousness near the end of the ride and died later. [2]. -- Chuckie User talk:kona1611
- OK...I stand corrected. :) Thanks! « amiИa . skyшalkeя (¿Hábleme?) 14:01, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
There's no reason to mention that information here anyway.
theme
[edit]This ride is a far cry from being "themed." I believe the enitre section should be removed. It seems very opinionated.
To add to the Theme side of things. There was no 50's scifi music while waiting in the queue. it was all modern rock music that was played. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.191.234.176 (talk) 17:19, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- As of my last visit in August 2007, the attraction was using the same music loop it had been using since its debut in April 2006. If that has changed in recent times (i.e., if they have abandoned the 50s sci-fi loop), then this section should indeed been removed. I added it based on the music tracks being played and the park's own attempts at establishing what Goliath is supposed to be (provided by its team members and its pre-recorded spiels on the platform), but as I am no longer able to visit the park frequently, if something has changed it needs to be reflected here. --McDoobAU93 03:04, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
SheiKra
[edit]sheikra's page has a link to this roller coaster, shouldn't there be also a counter-reference about both rollercoaster being tied for the tallest (200ft) of southeast usa? should we add this data? (HelenoBR (talk) 05:13, 27 December 2007 (UTC))
