Name
[edit]The opening phrase of this article, "The Golden Comb (Ger. die Goldene Zange)", was edited to read "The Golden Comb (Ger. der Goldene Kamm)". This may be a more accurate translation, but it is not correct. the German name for this tactic was die Goldene Zange; the English name for it was "the Golden Comb" (which isn't a literal translation, but is a better description of how it works). Why the German name uses zange (which are tongs, or pliers, AFAIK) is unclear; there is a discussion here about it, which might shed some light on the matter. Xyl 54 (talk) 00:52, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
