2024 Lebanon Pager Attack
[edit]The exploding pagers used for the 17 September 2024 attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon seem to be manufactured by this company:

Contested deletion
[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --bbson52 03:33, 29 January 2014 (UTC) I'm going to remove the promotional parts in the article.
- Still seems a bit promotional. --2A02:2121:629:71E0:7524:1B08:FE83:42E3 (talk) 23:22, 17 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]24 page views in the last 30 days. This company was literally irrelevant. But it's gonna be a lot now after the pager attack. Alexysun (talk) 03:13, 18 September 2024 (UTC)

Alleged Israel connection and legality of attack as terrorism
[edit]Censorship of the suspicion that Israel or agents thereof perpetrated, participated in, or orchestrated the attacks falsely betrays that no credible source has credited the explosions to an accident or mysterious kink in the universe --- the most widely suspected cause of the attacks is critical to understanding the context of and consequences from the attacks. See [1]https://apnews.com/article/lebanon-israel-hezbollah-pager-explosion-e9493409a0648b846fdcadffdb02d71e
Removing credible citations of former American high-ranking intelligence official that the attacks are an act of terrorism further wrongly omits the legality of the attacks --- which itself also provides an apparent reason for Israel's current non-comment on the attacks. - Discussion about the legality of the attacks are way outside the scope of an article about the corporation whose brand was used for the devices. There's a long discussion in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_Lebanon_pager_explosions#International_law, and there is no reason to repeat it here, certainly not in such a one-sided way. This was a blatant attempt to push a certain POV into this otherwise factual article. Even if you argue that some summary of that discussion should appear in this article, it certainly does not belong before the factual description of what happened. 18:44, 9 October 2024 (UTC) -- uriber (talk) 18:44, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- Israel's responsibility for terrorism here is necessary not because it inculpates Israel but because it exculpates Gold Apollo. Lelespri (talk) 23:29, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
