In need of an expert editor
[edit]As already raised at one editor's talk page, this article seems to suffer from naivete and perhaps some synthesis of concepts to address a specific audience. It needs a lot of work to become encyclopedic; it's worth noting that it seems to be under active construction, but others should participate. I'm no expert on this. -- Scray (talk) 21:13, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
This article is all around terrible. It is highly dubious as to whether a page for this particular topic is warranted. At best, a better idea is to make wikipedia page on thiol supported gold clusters, which in turn could discuss the gold-sulfur bond. The page has been filled with errors that experts in the area are clearly trying to correct. Unfortunately, this requires effort that would better be spent elsewhere, on a wikipedia page that warrants existence. Moxrael (talk) 16:01, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- I agree and tried to do something with this article some time ago. But the original author was highly protective. One of those things, sort of a turd deal. An aspiring teacher apparently, and teachers are some of the most secretive of their own ignorance. Maybe I will go back and try to repair this embarrassment.--Smokefoot (talk) 17:16, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
