It should be Gol Ekuish.

Murray mis-copied the name from the original source (Gupta, H. 1924. 'A few types of sedentary games prevalent in the central provinces.' Journal and Proceedings of the Asiatic Society of Bengal 20(5): 165–169), where it is called "Gol Ekuish" on p. 167.

The mistake has been repeated ever since.
