Renamed to Boracay Airport
[edit]This Airport has been renamed to "Boracay Airport" due to a DOT(Dept of Tourism) proposal but, I suggest not to move it since a Redirect already points here and local discussions on the Radio were/are against the name change and it may revert back to it's earlier name.

Runway length
[edit]I've noticed changes in the runway length asserted in this article recently between unsupported figures of 1,693 and 2,100 meters ([1]). I did some quick googling and see sources circa 2016 (e.g. https://iorbitnews.com/pal-lands-1st-a320-caticlan-airport/) giving a figure of 1,800 meters and a 2018 source (http://philippineairspace.blogspot.com/2018/01/dotr-seeks-caticlan-expansion.html) which says, "The airport operator however took five years after winning the contract in 2009 to start major construction works after series of obstacles went its way from environmental compliance to uncooperative land owners. They are cleared to construct 1,600 meter of runway as a compromise from local and environmental groups. The original runway design of 2,100 meters was discarded." There are probably more/better sources out there.
