National Geographic feature article, Sept. 2024 issue

[edit]

Veteran NatGeo writer Peter Gwin was invited to join Paul Sereno for his 2022 revisit to the Gobero Paleolake site. Lots of new information from visits between 2008 and 2023 and great photos. along with a good paleoclimatic map. I don't have time to add this to the article now, but this is a great article. Don't miss if you are interested in Gobero and/or life in the Sahara in the African Humid period (ca. 11,000 to 4000 yrs BP) Pete Tillman (talk) 18:28, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
