Godacre, Gotacre, Goatacre
[edit]I could not find any references to this name shift, but I did find a document that mentions "Goatacre" in a 1242 document, so I doubt the "Godacre" beginnings, if true, came from Quakers. See Blewett, Blewitt, Blouet, Bloet and Bluett's FACTS IN ENGLAND
