Just a small little tiny comment

Researching a lot about antique and modern Gnosticism, I have the uncanny feeling that most of the content in this article is a modern construct – a modern invention to make something profound and mystical of a common Greek word used in daily discourse in the antiquity, inequating it with knowledge ignoring its original meaning of rather 'knowledge by experience' than just 'knowledge' – but this doesn't make the Gnosis of the Platonic equal to the Gnosis of the mystery cults, of Gnosticism nor of non-Gnostic Christianity. Occult gnosis

It appears that the sex-magical groups, thelemites, gurdieffians/samaelians/belzebuubians, and the chaos magickians equate "gnosis" with a certain altered state of consciousness. Instead of having badly motivated links in the see-also section, it would be better to have a short paragraph about this different definition. Rursus dixit. (mbork3!) 09:53, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
