This article needs a picture and possibly some updating regarding business expansion. NancyHeise talk 14:45, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- There's history here that I'm not finding any coverage of online, which I know because the old, non-functioning payphones in United Airlines' terminal at the Newark Liberty International Airport all said they were owned by Global Tel Link when I was there in early 2016. This company was apparently in the business of COCOTs at one point, and if any information can be found in reliable sources it should be included in this article. - Another example of what I am talking about. Too bad Pinterest isn’t a reliable source. PCHS-NJROTC (Messages)Have a blessed day. 13:07, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on GlobalTel. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20080828061403/http://www.thinkglobal.net/Newsletters/2004_Q2/FL/ComNewsUSA_FL.html to http://www.thinkglobal.net/Newsletters/2004_Q2/FL/ComNewsUSA_FL.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Controversy
[edit]This article lacked controversy surrounding pricing as seen in national media outlets. Copyrighted advertising content was removed as well. Make way for poppi (talk) 21:17, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
EMessaging
[edit]I have a question on how the messaging works can messages be deleted on both ends? 24.100.118.194 (talk) 20:58, 8 July 2022 (UTC)
- This is not the place for such question; this is a page where we discuss improving the article. If you want to ask Wikipedians this question, the Wikipedia:Reference desk would be a better place, but I can’t guarantee anyone there (or here for that matter) would have the answer you’re seeking. Removed 2023 sale claim
[edit]I've removed the claim that GTL was sold in 2023 to "M&H Samaniego", added here by user MrsCeo and later edited to add "(Michael & Herlinda Samaniego)".
Reasons:
- I can find *no* reference to a company or trust under this name.
- A Google search for "M&H Samaniego" finds only this Wikipedia article.
- A Google search for " Michael & Herlinda Samaniego " finds only this Wikipedia article
- I cannot find a single article referencing this sale.
- The user who made this edit has 2 edits total, both to this page, both for this claim, no talk page, no other edit history anywhere else.
- (To a lesser extent) the broken English of this edit ("In 2023, Sold again") and the awkward expansion of the name in parentheses is more characteristic of a low-quality unsourced edit than of a legitimate one.
I started by first noticing the unsourced claim and looked for a source, to add a reference. No such source seems to exist and the edit history of this user makes this look like vandalism more than anything else.
If this company was actually sold in 2023 to an entity with this name, this page should say it and reference reliable sources. Nffwp (talk) 10:17, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
