Sorry I haven't been able to get this finished. I got rolling on it yesterday and wasn't able to get some real worthwhile material down. I'll see what I can get accomplished today. Nswinton 12:43, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I updated the page considerably, but it's obviously not finished, either. I'm definately open to any suggestions on exactly what improvements need to me made. I'm still fairly new to this whole wikipedia thing. Nswinton 13:20, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I have shifted the 'speedy' tag. However, if it is to survive an AfD then it needs the addition of reliable, independent sources attesting to the significance of the organisation - see WP:CITE. Evidence is also needed that the 'Notable Sponsors' are actually sponsors'! Bridgeplayer 22:39, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'll get on this as soon as I'm able to. Thanks for the help, Bridgeplayer. Nswinton 23:32, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Important identity musings

[edit]

Not sure this is anything more than a media club for evangelical clergy but I added some sources to support the page and encourage further research here. Pretty sure I could hit this with a factbox and some more material tomorrow night. Is this a non-profit? Please show if you can source it, important for the factbox. ClaudeReigns 05:44, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay recent research has led me to believe it's also at least a phenomenon of the Promise Keepers variety. Definitely notable ClaudeReigns 02:25, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bridgeplayer's fact citation on Sponsor section

[edit]

On one hand, why am I spending my time corroborating spam? On the other hand, why am I spending my time having to re-cite, item by item, a list of sponsors on the front page of a reputable worldwide organization's website? It's not like the local cult newspaper which runs American Heart Association ads on the third page to look legit. These guys are for real. What's happened is each of the guys on the list stiffened GPN up with a few bucks to get mention.... now Bridgeplayer wants me to show him the receipts??? Puh-lease. Either call it for the spam it is, or take it at face value. I have better things to do than digging through endless pages to get secondary sources for each of the sixteen organizations on the list (even though I've already found a third of them). We could actually be talking about what GPN actually DOES. Now I'm going to delete the section. Revert it if you don't like it. ClaudeReigns 08:01, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nope; I like it :-) That was my preferred solution. Bridgeplayer 04:34, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
O_o ClaudeReigns 05:03, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the cleanup. ClaudeReigns 06:24, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jesus

[edit]

Howcheng deleted the only link to Jesus within the article. I'm not going to edit war it, especially since Howcheng is an admin. If someone else would please link to find a discrete way of including J.C., I'd appreciate it. ClaudeReigns 08:02, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is that converting to Jesus is not an aim on either the GPN official site or in their pronouncements. I have, however, included a reference to Jesus in an authoritative quote. HTH. Bridgeplayer 15:58, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:GPN logo.gif

[edit]

File:GPN logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
