{{help}} How do I change the name of this article? It is called the Glenwood Resource Center. It has not been called the Iowa Institution for Feeble-Minded Children for decades. J. Edgar Vekilnik, Jr. (talk) 02:47, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Patient Records
[edit]Would like to add a section on where people can find/request patient records for past patients of Glenwood Resource Center(GRC). Have been getting a lot of inquiries at the Glenwood Public Library and the information is not readily findable. Had to call the actual facility and can confirm that they did receive the patient records, but are still processing/auditing it, but they are the place to call to request information now.
Public can contact Woodward Resource Center(WRC) at their switchboard number: 515-438-2600; then select Option #2 when prompted and then select Option #9 when prompted to get to their records department.
Not sure if this detailed information is allowable or if the entry would just state that patient records have been transferred to Woodward Resource Center and then link it to the WRC wiki entry (if they have one), can't really find this information on Iowa Health and Human Services website or anywhere that I could find. I heard from a local that WRC had the records and had to call WRC myself to confirm. I think having at least this information (that WRC has GRC's patient records) here on Wiki would be valuable to people looking for information. Am new to editing on this platform and wanted feedback/suggestions before I edited the wiki page. FoxtrotDad (talk) 19:57, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
