[edit]Almost all the sources used are self published sources from either Paige or from the CGNK. That has to be fixed (quickly) if this article is to be rescued from the delete bin.LeadSongDog come howl 13:40, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- Agree. Will start working on it as soon as possible.--Cgnk (talk) 14:21, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- I don't believe that your friend Glenn is notable enough to require such a large article, much less such a hagiographic one. I've once again cut it down with the hope that you will build it up slowly and gradually, stopping when it's sufficient. If you won't adhere to that, I will immediately nominate the article for deletion on the basis of non-notability. TruthIIPower (talk) 23:22, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- T2P, I had never heard of Paige before yesterday either, but it is clear from the refs that several of his published works, particularly The Korean Decision, are notable and were well reviewed in respected book reviews. Cgnk has been very cooperative and industrious so far in reworking the article as asked. Deleting massive amounts of sourced material (and the sources) in a single edit like that is not helpful. Please AGF and allow the work to continue. He got off on the wrong foot, but he does seem to be learning quickly.LeadSongDog come howl 02:10, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- LeadSongDog, I'm not sure if I messed up some of your latest changes recovering earlier material. Please double-check.--Cgnk (talk) 11:04, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

- I found the references for most of the mentioned articles. Should they be included (and formatted) or would that be considered excessive information? Some are probably more important than others, but maybe the books are enough.--Cgnk (talk) 14:46, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- I'd suggest moving the lot of them to this talk page for now. Only the ones that are used to support a statement in the article text really belong in the article. Those can be put in as they are cited. Alternatively, format them as hidden text using markup like this: <!-- Insert article citation here where it is hidden --> for a result like this: (although that approach may be opposed.)
- I'll try to select some of the more relevant articles and include them in the "Select Bibliography". I have only read a few of them that are available online, so it will take some time.--Cgnk (talk) 16:43, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
